Light rains descended on a very warm Sunday morning on the FZone centre as The Football Link geared up for the second edition of the FCube 4v4 Championship. The success of v1.0 set the tone for an even grander event on the 5th of July 2016.

Teams from various corners of Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida arrived to fight for a chance to take down the defending champions, SPG, and claim the ultimate bragging right of being the best 4v4 team in the nation’s capital.

Undeterred by the rain, once again, the participating teams got down right into the thick of the action. As is the feature of the game, players linked well with their teammates in a brilliant exhibition of short and crisp passing combined with quick movements.

The tournament provided an even more impressive showing than the previous edition with a repertoire of exquisite skills and some breathtaking goals.

As the day wore on and the floodlights came on, the best of the lot proved themselves against the rest of the teams. The defending champions, SPG, marched on to the finals in style where they were met by a very resilient side in Bhajan Mandali.

The final match failed to disappoint with both teams producing some fine plays. The two most deserving teams were represented in the finals.

A barrage of chances were created on either end, and despite Bhajan Mandali putting up a strong fight, SPG were once again crowned as the undisputed winners.
